I was excited to get these pens. I have 5 grandchildren and about 3 other children that frequent my house. There are some toys here, and of course video games and tv. However, when I have my grandchildren I like to make their visit special. I have tons of arts and crafts supplies that I bring out often. Then sometimes we have quiet time, time we sit and color or draw. All of these are special activities that will create memories for me and them.
This pack of pens have 36 gel pens in assorted colors and textures. There are pastel colors for those beautiful flower pictures that need a special dash of color. There are regular colored pens and there are glitter pens. I love, love, love those glitter pens. They have beautiful bright colors with an awesome sheen of glitter. I took a couple of pictures of some coloring we did, the glitter did not show up as I would have liked in the picture. It is much more pronounced than you can see in the pic. All the colors are just beautiful and bright. The pens glide easily and the colors do not bleed. You have every color you could think of right at your fingertips.
I can say my granddaughter, myself and my cousin sat down and had a color fest. We had a couple of judges to judge our work (of course the granddaughter won). We gave her a special treat for winning. We sat at least 30 minutes and held an awesome conversation. I learned of the awards she had received at school, that she was playing basketball next year and that she "don't" have a boyfriend, among other things. But we laughed and talked and had a really good time. You can't have those type times and create memories without products like this.
I really do like these pens. They are high quality, bright colors and the possible creations are endless. They are professional quality and would also be great for the adult coloring books. Another thing that is neat is its hard plastic carrying case. This allows for you to keep them all together and carry them from place to place. I keep mine in a cabinet, but it does have a "hanger" so you can hang them on the wall if you would like. The case has snaps to secure it and keeps all the pens in place. This was well worth the price I paid for the item plus more.
